Dear fellow people of Gangwon State,
I greet you as Chairman of the Gangwon State Council and your servant.
As Korea’s local autonomies grow more distinct, the role of local councils is becoming increasingly
significant. In response, the Gangwon State Council wishes to be a strong pillar that the people of
Gangwon can trust and rely on. All 49 members of the Gangwon State Council, myself included, are
putting heads together to evolve the Council to best serve the people of Gangwon.

The Gangwon State Council works to establish itself as a space for communication that solves the
pending issues we face and unites us all for the public good. In this endeavor, we need your full
support and encouragement.
The Gangwon State Council promises to always put you first in the design and implementation of
proactive and progressive policies, and engage in more active and sophisticated legislative activities
with a focus on serving the people of Gangwon.
